Biography
I was once named the tallest gymnast in the NCAA. While completing a degree in Neuroscience Psychology at Penn State University, my efforts helped the school’s gymnastics team win several national titles. Bachelor of Science in hand, I went on to work as an acrobat for renowned circus companies such as Cirque du Soleil. After spending 5 years performing, completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification at Sonic Yoga and coaching acrobatics at Circus Warehouse in New York City, I decided to enhance my knowledge about the human body and enrolled in the 3 year Doctoral Program of Physical Therapy at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Upon graduation, I started treating full time at Excel Physical Therapy, an Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic, providing clinical coverage at both the Center City Philadelphia and Ardmore, PA locations. Specializing in Sports and Performing Arts Physical Therapy, I regularly was invited by Neurosport in New York City to work with Broadway and Off Broadway Productions, providing physical therapy backstage to high level performers, including Tony Award winning actors. Entering my 6th year as a Physical Therapist, I currently work at In Motion Physical Therapy in Downingtown, PA and currently reside in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my family. I feel fortunate to work in a field helping individuals regain independence, return to sport and get back to an active life style.
